Dr. Judith Archer is an experienced optometrist at Whelpley & Paul’s Greece office who provides comprehensive eye care for patients of all ages. Inspired by her own experience receiving glasses as a child, Dr. Archer combines clinical expertise with a compassionate, patient-first approach. About Dr. Judith Archer
Education
Dr. Archer earned her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from SUNY Oswego before continuing her education at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, where she received both her Bachelor of Science in Vision Science and Doctor of Optometry degree. She further advanced her clinical training by completing a Primary Care Residency at The Eye Institute, strengthening her expertise in comprehensive eye care and vision management.
Clinical Experience
Dr. Archer has dedicated her career to providing comprehensive eye care with a focus on helping patients achieve their best possible vision at every stage of life. During optometry school, she completed a clinical rotation in Alaska, gaining valuable experience in a unique healthcare setting before returning to New York to serve her local community.
Today, she provides comprehensive eye exams, pediatric eye care, contact lens evaluations, and personalized vision correction, tailoring each recommendation to her patients’ individual lifestyles and eye health needs.

Community & Personal Interests
Originally from Syracuse, New York, Dr. Archer now lives in Ontario, New York, with her daughter and their cat. Outside the office, she enjoys camping, reading, and continuing her Spanish language studies. She is also proud to support the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and volunteers during the organization’s annual walk in Syracuse.
