About Dr. Beiter
Dr. Beiter’s path to optometry began early, growing up in Hamburg, NY, where his father worked as an optician. Spending time in the office environment sparked his interest in eye care and ultimately led him to pursue a career in the field.
He graduated from Hamburg High School before earning his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Canisius College. He went on to receive his Doctor of Optometry degree from the New England College of Optometry, followed by dual residency training at the VA Medical Center in Providence, Rhode Island, where he specialized in primary care optometry and ocular disease and pathology.
Throughout his education and training, Dr. Beiter lived across the Northeast, including time in Boston and Providence, gaining valuable clinical experience in a variety of settings. His dual residency provided in-depth exposure to managing a wide range of eye health conditions, allowing him to deliver thorough, well-rounded care to his patients.
Today, he is proud to serve patients in his hometown at Biondolillo Eye Care, a practice with deep roots in the Hamburg community. He values being part of a trusted local office that has cared for generations of families and continues to build lasting relationships with patients.
Outside of the office, Dr. Beiter enjoys spending time with his wife, their child, and their dog, Evie. He is a lifelong Buffalo sports fan and enjoys outdoor activities such as fishing and hunting. He also has a passion for birdwatching, which has taken him to unique destinations including the Galápagos Islands.
